Las Vegas, known as sin city for it’s glitz and glamour creates dreams and fantasies. Being the number one tourist destination in the world, people from all walks of life visit as well as move to the desert oasis.

“Everything and anything you want to do, you can do in Las Vegas.”

As much as people say “you can do anything” in sin city, it’s not quite entirely true. For instance, you can legally have an open container of alcohol on the Las Vegas strip, but you cannot smoke cannabis in public even though it’s legal in the state of Nevada.

With tourism being the big draw to the city, cannabis delivery should be available to tourists as well as locals right? Yes and no. Cannabis delivery services are limited to residential addresses only, meaning no hotels, casinos or places of business. Not all dispensaries provide delivery services, but a majority of them do or use third party services.

Nevada is actually one of the more heavier regulated states when it comes to cannabis cultivation, production, purchase, consumption and distribution. The Glitz and Glamour of Las Vegas allows everyone to escape form their day to day grind and let loose. Although cannabis might be a part of that escape, it can also get one in trouble with the law.

The laws and regulations set forth by Nevada, have set the stage showing that the cannabis industry can operate like other federally legal businesses such as alcohol. This in turn may help with the push of federal legalization for cannabis in the U.S. in the near future.
